Mr. Sam Gibbons drew the lucky winning
entrants for the each of the $100.00 savings bonds.
Congratulations go out to Ben Cagle, the
winner for the 7-9 age group. Ben is the son of Ryan and Joy Cagle
of Huntsville, Ben’s grandmother Cindy Patton, lives in Athens.
Congratulations also goes out to Harlyn
Cowart, the winner of the 10-12 age group, Harlyn is the daughter of
Dave and Whitney Reinhart of Athens and Brian and Holly Cowart of
Decatur.
Director Sandy Thompson presented the bonds
to Ben and Harlyn at the museum on Veterans Day.
We would like to thank all of the children
who played and the parents for bringing them into the museum, we
hope fun was had by all while learning about the service men and
women of this great country.
