September 18th Homecoming Celebration for
AL National Guard 203rd
Police Battalion
9:00AM – 12:00PM
The 70 members of the 203rd returned home
June 19th 2010, after completing their operation in Basra
to train Iraqi Police Officers, they were deployed June 21st 2009.
There will be refreshments and sandwiches courtesy of local restaurants, games for
the kids, a train ride, live band (Seven Days), face painting and
lots of other activities.
A drawing for the members of the 203rd
and their spouse for a $300 gift certificate to the Westin Hotel at
Bridge Street, a laptop computer a boys and a girls bike, as well as small game prizes for children.
The schedule is as follows:
From 9:AM to 10:AM we will have coffee and donuts - visiting
with the battalion

• National anthem – Whitney Reinhart
• Prayer – Grover Gardner
• Speaker – State Sen. Tom Butler, Representative Henry White
and Mayor Dan Williams, County Commissioner David Seibert
We look forward to the public
to attend and welcome them home, come out and show your appreciation for their
service on Saturday, September 18th.
There will be no parking at the museum, please park at First
Methodist Church or the Municipal Building. We will have a
shuttle bus to pick people up and bring to the Museum.
