Garth Lovvorn
spoke at the November realtor lunch about the GREEN AND
LEED homes Habitat for Humanity are currently building.
He also asked
the question "You can sell houses, but can you build
one?"
This morning
around 8:AM realtors started to show up for an hour, a
couple of hours, all day if they could spare the time to
help build a home for a deserving family.

Patsy Gooch said:
'We will start at 8:00 A.M. and work till you become
tired or you can come any time of the day! If you can
work one hour, two hours, the time frame does not
matter, the important issue is, we are helping our
community!
"We are entering the season for giving from our hearts.
What a perfect way, to start off the season! Let's do
our part and make some special family have a new home!"
Garth concluded, "These houses are not given for free to
these selected occupants, they do have to pay for them,
they will have a reduced price and the interest rate is
very reasonable, but the qualification are strict and we
require copies of their financial records and other
statements."
